Success in the world of business depends on your ability to reinvent yourself and your processes and apply them for improved results consistent to your customer’s needs. Whether you are selling a product or services, whether you represent a well-known, established company or a new start up, one fact remains clear: it is unlikely that you will maintain a competitive advantage unless you discontinue doing things the way you have always done them. Speaker: Darryl Russell, The Russell Group Darryl Russell is a successful sales and marketing professional, business development strategist and executive coach. He spent 25 high-achieving years in sales, management, and marketing in the communications and high technology arena with nationally recognized companies like Xerox, Honeywell, Exxon, MCI, and GE Information Services. Darryl attained ‘Presidents Club’ status with Xerox, Exxon, and MCI. He earned top sales and management awards with these companies and has since garnered service awards for sharing leadership principles with students, advocacy groups, and educational charities. He received recognition in 1986 as an Outstanding Young Man in America. In 2007 he completed course work with Resource Associates Coaching Academy earning the designation of Certified Business Coach. Darryl has been honored twice (2009 and 2015) with the John A. Gilmore Award, presented by the Northwest Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council to advocates for business success in minority communities.
As President of the The Russell Group, he now specializes in sharing success-building strategies with the leaders of small and mid-sized firms, including the principles of Entrepreneurial Leadership, Strategic Planning, Executive Leadership, and Team Dynamics. Darryl applies his knowledge of the social and behavioral sciences to help individuals and organizations create the positive behavioral changes needed to improve performance and generate breakthrough results. By designing and facilitating processes that enable his clients to pursue excellence, The Russell Group leverages his insights gained in the Fortune 500 to benefit smaller firms, startups, firms owned by people of color and women, and companies being transferred from the leadership of founders to second-generation owners. Darryl’s ongoing pursuit of excellence continues. In 2016, he completed 24 credits of continuing education for corporate board members through ExecRank. |
