In the news, we often hear how US - China relations affects us in a global sense. Elaine Chan will help us understand how this relationship directly effects your life in the West Seattle Community. She reminds us, "like it or not, you are living in a global community. Does it provide opportunities? Or create hardships? We may be turning one into the other without even being aware of it."

Elaine Chan, owner of a Registered Investment Advisory Firm, FIOH (Future In Our Hands) is a Ph.D. Economist who truly understands how to integrate globalism in local communities: ?Chances are you will either be working for someone who is not a native born American, hire someone from another country, or collaborate with a company that is not based in the United States.?
Elaine not only has the education but the experience at a global level. Elaine has been in the field of finance and economics for over thirty years. She has worked for:

She is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary, a Certified Financial Planner, a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst.
She was a volunteer board member with the World Association of Children and Parents and the Greater Seattle Chinese Chamber. She chaired the Diversity Committee with the Bellevue Chamber. Currently, she chairs the Youth Services with the West Seattle Rotary Club, and she is an ambassador for the Shelter Box, an international non-profit organization that provide emergency shelter and vital supplies globally to support communities in the events of natural and/or humanitarian crisis.
