SUMMARY:One Year Anniversary Party at Mr. B's Mead Center
DESCRIPTION:Mr. B's Mead Center is turning 1! Join us in celebrating from 2-8 pm on March 21st!\n\nHOLY WOW! Has it already been a whole YEAR?!?\n\nWe're looking forward to another year of supporting local artists and building community in White Center! To celebrate\, we're hosting a few artists who have had a meaningful impact on us AND having some special releases including an exclusive bottle-aged mead tasting ONLY AVAILABLE AT OUR ANNIVERSARY PARTY!\n\nThe Art of Kelly Dean Verity\n\nKelly is a queer trans artist based in Seattle\, Washington\, who specializes in alternative\, occult\, and fantasy-themed art and merch. They are inspired by concepts of juxtaposition\, queerness\, subversion\, pop culture\, mutation\, and intense colors. They work digitally as well as with variety of traditional mediums including gouache\, acrylic\, blacklight reactive\, and glow in the dark art.\n\nHyde Angelus\n\nSecondly\, Hyde Angelus was the second artist we hosted in our space! I'll never forget their honest feedback and support they gave during their first time vending with us. Their art had us all squeeing with delight over how incredibly talented they are! Hyde's art focuses on love with influences of Greek and Jewish culture\, often featuring transmasc figures.\n\nCerulean Serpent\n\nDragon has become a bit of a staple at The Mead Center! Since meeting them\, Dragon's relationship with us has evolved into awesome events curated by them - Including their monthly @feedingthecauldron witchy skillshare meetups and their markets\, @unseenemporium . We are eternally grateful to them for taking a chance on us and hope our relationship continues to grow!\n\nCerulean Serpent is an Oracle Card Reader & Creator of Beautiful Adornments & Sensory Tools for Queers\, Punks & Outcasts. These include Witchy AF Natural Perfumes\, Bitchy AF Engraved Crystal Candi Bracelets & Plastic Free Biodegradable Glitter Blends.\n\nSkull Gunk Studios\n\nGet poked by Mikauley of Skull Gunk Studios! B and I are both sporting their awesome artwork! AND they designed our arts event mascot/logo of sorts for the Mead Center!\n\nDuchess Mini Pancakes!\n\nJen with Duchess Mini Pancakes will be there serving up their delicious food! Jen has been working with us throughout the past year and we could not be more grateful for our collaboration and support of each other! Jen will soon be opening a permanent cafe in our Tool Crib building!\n\nBe sure to stop by and grab something yummy to support Jen's journey and growth as a local businesswoman!\n\n\n\nLive Local Music!\n\nAngelina Adams will be performing a special set from 2-3:30!\n\nNoe Navarro will be performing from 3:30-4:30!\n\nNitre Coven playing at 7pm!\n\nWhite Center Collab!\n\nWe'll have a limited special pre-release bottles of Feral Pollinator - our collaboration with our beautiful neighbors\, Wolfpack Cellars!\n\nSpecial Bottle-Aged Mead Tastings with Mr. B!\n\nSome of these flavors will be extremely limited stock! Be sure to get there early to try everything!
