DESCRIPTION:May 11th\, Thursday\n\nFauntleroy Boulevard Project -\n\nUpdate & Open Discussion on Business Concerns\n\n\n\nThe West Seattle Chamber of Commerce is bringing the players to the table in an effort to create a plan that will mitigate the pain on businesses and their customers from construction on the Fauntleroy Boulevard.\n\n \n\n	Representatives from the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) and\n	City of Seattle Office of Economic Development (OED) \n\nwill present on SDOT's Fauntleroy Boulevard Project\, which will design and build mobility\, landscaping\, and lighting improvements for Fauntleroy Way SW between 35th Ave SW and SW Alaska St. The presentation will cover the project design as well as discuss early planning for construction\, which is anticipated to begin in early 2018.\n\n\n\nEven those businesses not on Fauntleroy will be effected if their customers.  Knowledge is power and early planning is one of the keys to addressing potential challenges.  \n\n \n\n	The Q&A period will allow for businesses to voice some of their concerns.  \n	How everyone can voice their concerns and potential solutions in an effective manner will also be discussed.
