Discover one of the treasures on the Peninsula,
The Seattle Chinese Garden.
Join us for an Afterhours at the Seattle Chinese Garden. Enjoy the beauty of the Garden, and meet other Chamber members during the height of the summer season.
The Seattle Chinese Garden inspires global understanding by immersing visitors in the richness and beauty of Chinese culture. Their mission is to create a traditional Sichuan-style Chinese garden, the only one of its kind outside China, as a means of celebrating Seattle's rich Chinese heritage and supporting Seattle's future business and cultural relationship with China.
“Our mission is to enrich the quality of life in the Pacific Northwest, by providing a beautiful "coming together space" in Sichuan style, which will strengthen the region's global community and citizenship.”
Directions:
Drive into the north entrance to South Seattle Community College (6000 16th Ave. SW, Seattle, 98106). There is small yellow parking kiosk immediately after the gatehouse. The college arboretum is on your left and then the gravel walkway to the Garden Entry Courtyard is before the first building on the left. Look for the green directional signs.
