This all-day, valuable and informative course teaches the principles of Canine First Aid so that owners, professionals and animal-lovers have a thorough understanding of what to do in any canine emergency. Individual canine manikins are used to teach life-saving skills, such as artificial respiration and CPR. Topics include: vital signs, canine body language, emergency assessments, CPR, airway obstruction (choking), severe bleeding, drowning, bone and joint injuries, hypothermia and heatstroke, poisonings, wound care and much more.
