This event will be held outdoors for a close-up view of the six vibrant art murals designed for the Promenade Pop-ups at Spring St. and Alaskan Way. Prints will be available for sale and everyone who RSVPS and attends will be entered into a door prize drawing. Ten attendees will have the chance to be a recipient of an artist print of one of the murals or pack of artist designed stickers.
Where: Along the Waterfront Park promenade at the intersections of Spring Street. See FAQ for navigation details. Two kiosks will be located at this intersection - be sure to check the Seneca Street intersection for two additional kiosks with beautiful murals designed by Sarah Folden. Visit them both while you're here!
More about the Promenade Pop-ups:
With Waterfront Park’s new Promenade nearing completion, Friends of Waterfront Park is already filling it with fun, culture, and art (three things we know you love as much as we do!). Come on down to the Promenade between Spring and Seneca and say “hi” to our new resident vendors and do some shopping at our Promenade Pop-ups!
We also commissioned some beautiful artworks to adorn the four kiosks by two inspiring Indigenous artists: Sarah Folden (Cowlitz Tribal member) and Bill Pfeifer Jr. (Tlingit Tribal Member).
