Rain City Clay Grand Opening

2pm Ribbon Cutting with the West Seattle Chamber of Commerce

2:30-5:00pm / Throughout the day we will have Community Activities:

~ Tours: take a stroll through the studio and see the revamped building!

~ Silk Screen a Shirt: Bring a black t-shirt, hoodie, or canvas bag - we will screen a dark grey “Rain City Clay” logo onto your shirt. Then you will need to take your shirt and spread it in your car to dry. Finish the setting of the design by heating it in a clothes dryer for a few minutes.

~ Decorate a Rain Drop: Leave your well-wishes, a meaningful quote, sign your name, or add patterns to 2D ceramic raindrops that will be added to the wall at the RCC Studio. Materials sponsored by AMACO.

~ The first 50 people get a door prize - a handmade garden paver tile!

4-7pm Music: Bobby Medina Jazz Quartet
This compact group packs a punch and is the perfect soundtrack for our grand opening. Their repertoire includes instrumental pop hits, Broadway show tunes, jazz standards, Latin, romantic, big band themes, and more. Think Sinatra to Soul! Come celebrate with us!
