Kids Need Kiwanis Now More Than Ever
2020 is looking different for all of us and the Kiwanis Club of West Seattle is looking different this year too. For the first time in 74 years, West Seattle Kiwanis will not be holding an in-person pancake breakfast. Despite not being able to serve up hot cakes this year, our commitment to the kids in our community remains steadfast, and we are having an online event, including a silent auction and virtual Santa photos.
Venturing Crew 760 (BSA) are working with Santa to accommodate your child's Christmas photo joy in a safe and stress-free way. Check it out!
Our goal is to raise funds for our sponsored youth programs (including 3 high school Key Clubs, Seattle U Circle K, Troop 284 and 8284, Crew 760), as well as provide funding for the three local high schools, for use by the Student Body during the pandemic crisis.
The annual pancake breakfast has been a staple in the West Seattle community and we look forward to seeing all of our friends once again in December 2021!
You may have heard of Kiwanis, but we would like to share with you the reasons why the West Seattle Kiwanis is distinctive. We are dedicated to community service and helping the Children of West Seattle be the best that they can be. The West Seattle Kiwanis Club was chartered in 1929. We perform local service projects throughout the month. Last but not least, Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
