About Us

I have lived in West Seattle for more than twenty-five years. I grew up in Massachusetts, and graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont. I moved to Seattle for law school, and graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 1991.

I have had a lifelong passion for animals, and have worked as a veterinary assistant, a dog walker, a volunteer keeper assistant at the Woodland Park Zoo and a volunteer with Animal Services of King County. I live with an ever-shifting menagerie that currently includes an energetic labrador, two tuxedo cats, and a corn snake. I have two fabulous kids who are almost grown, and enjoy close relationships with my extended family, who have all migrated to West Seattle over the years.
